Leveraging big data to identify risk factors and therapeutic targets for diabetic and cardiovascular diseases

Programme(s) to which this project applies:

☑ MPhil/PhD ☒ MRes[Med] ☒ URIS

With the establishment of multiple databases in Hong Kong and other regions around the world, alongside the advancements in AI and machine learning, the identification and verification of risk factors and therapeutic targets for diabetic and cardiovascular diseases through big data analysis have become achievable. This project centers on data research driven by clinical and epidemiological concepts, encompassing open public databases, self-owned databases, multi-omics data, and more. We invite individuals with a robust background in epidemiology and biostatistics to join us.
