Objective and Significance:
To investigate the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the diagnostic interpretation of liver cancer and advanced liver disease.
Research Plan and Methodology:
We have established an interdisciplinary research team investigating on how artificial intelligence can enhance the diagnostic accuracy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). These include:
We have also started preliminary work on non-HCC project, including a more accurate interpretation of liver fibrosis and other clinical non-liver projects that may benefit from AI.
