Research Projects
Liver transplant for acute-on-chronic liver failure

Programme(s) to which this project applies:

☒ MPhil/PhD ☑ MRes[Med] ☒ URIS

Acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) patients have a high risk of early mortality without liver transplant. In this project, students will learn how to carry out a project to determine the baseline characteristics of ACLF patients, the evolution and assessment of organ failures, waitlist outcomes and predictors for futility after liver transplant.
