Research Projects
Development of Inhalable Nanoparticle-based Drug Delivery Systems Against Respiratory Diseases

Programme(s) to which this project applies:

☑ MPhil/PhD ☑ MRes[Med] ☑ URIS

This project aims at developing an inhalable nanoparicle-based formulation for treatment of respiratory infections. Specifically, the student(s) will be responsible to:

(i) Design and fabricate nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems suitable for oral inhalation;

(ii) Characterize the pharmaceutical properties of the drug delivery systems;

(iii) Evaluate the safety and efficacy of the drug delivery systems via a series of in vitro and in vivo studies

Students with interests in this project are encouraged to contact Professor Aviva Chow (asfchow@hku.hk) for more project details.

Professor ASF Chow, Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy
