Research Projects
Comprehensive translational research program in the diagnosis and management of spinal deformities including scoliosis

Programme(s) to which this project applies:

☑ MPhil/PhD ☒ MRes[Med] ☒ URIS

Our research group is dedicated to exploring the aetiology, diagnosis, conservative care and surgical interventions of spinal deformities. Our multidisciplinary team comprises students from diverse fields such as medicine and medical sciences, engineering, computer science, chemistry, and social sciences. This diversity fosters innovative approaches and comprehensive analyses, enhancing our understanding and treatment of spinal deformities. We incorporate both traditional scientific methods and machine learning techniques in our research. By integrating various disciplines, we aim to advance the diagnosis and treatment of conditions like scoliosis, ultimately improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
