Objective and Significance:

Objective:

This study aims to dissect the molecular and cellular basis of biliary atresia

Significance:

To improve the diagnosis, prognosis and therapy development for BA

Research Plan and Methodology:

We will employ:-

(1) RNA-sequencing combined with liver organoid cultures to dissect the molecular and cellular basis for BA

(2) Next generation sequencing to identify genes/genetic mutations for BA.
