This projects aims to understand the role of Chinese medicine formula in the prevention and treatment of obesity, diabetes and their complications in the context of immune and gut microbiota interaction. We target on the systematic interaction of gut-immune system, as well as gut-adipose tissue in animals and patients under the treatment of Chinese Medicine formula to elaborate the holistic content of the pharmacological action of Chinese Medicine in these metabolic diseases.
