HKU-EHP Data Collaboration Laboratory (HKU-EHPDCL) (formerly known as HKU-HA Data Collaboration Laboratory (HKU-HADCL)), located at the HKUMed Sassoon Road campus, was launched in July 2022 to offer HKU researchers and postgraduate students convenient remote access to a diverse collection of healthcare data provided by the EHP Data Collaboration Laboratory (EHPDCL) (formerly known as HA Data Collaboration Laboratory (HADCL)), under the Hospital Authority (HA).
A key feature of HKU-EHPDCL is the Clinical Research Awareness & Data Learning Environment (CRADLE) that was first launched in May 2025. CRADLE enables academic researchers to explore a representative sample of the healthcare data, assessing its value and relevance for subsequent researches. With Qlik Sense powering its analytics, CRADLE provides a secure and user-friendly platform for data visualization and exploration, empowering researchers to advance cutting-edge studies in healthcare improvement and innovation.
