Target users
Academic researchers who would like to conduct pre-research activities or research analysis using the healthcare data.
Prerequisites
Eligibility of the applicants for accessing the data services are as follows:
The datasets comprise anonymized, structured healthcare data spanning more than 30 years, offering detailed longitudinal records of the patient journey.
Data is refreshed quarterly and reflects the most recent full quarter.
A self-service analytics tool for interactive data exploration and visualisation will be provided.

Researchers conducting research study using DARE may apply for export of output such as aggregated result(s). Ethics approval and funding support document are required.
All output files are subject to review by the EHPDCL Office for compliance with the requirements stipulated in the established agreement with EHP and confidentiality undertaking.
DARE is a fee-based data service, with access provided on a named-user licence basis.
A quotation will be issued upon review of the submitted applications by the EHPDCL Office.
Each applicant can choose to access the data services from the HKU-EHP Data Collaboration Laboratory (HKU-EHPDCL), a remote access site located at the HKU Medical Campus, or the EHP Data Collaboration Laboratory (EHPDCL) in Kowloon Bay.
