香港大學（港大）七個研究項目成功入選香港特區政府創新科技署推出的第三輪「產學研1+計劃」（RAISe+）資助名單，為本地院校之冠。當中，港大醫學院共有兩個項目入選，分別是臨床醫學學院外科學系講座教授萬鈞教授的「肝立方：全新肝癌肝病精準診療平台」及生物醫學學院周中軍教授的「人類多能幹細胞來源的胰島類器官治療糖尿病 」。

Professor Jason Cheung, Department Chairperson of HKU Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, was awarded the Li Shu Fan Medical Foundation Professorship in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2024. A specialist in paediatric growth and spinal deformity, he is exploring artificial technology, genetics and new surgical techniques to improve outcomes for his patients.

Guided by our amazing student “doctors,” “nurses,” “scientists,” “practitioners,” and “pharmacists,” the kids took their furry friends through 7 interactive stations. From riding the Teddy Ambulance and checking vitals at Triage, to performing "stitches" in Surgery and picking up candy prescriptions at the Pharmacy – our young visitors showed so much curiosity and courage!

Members of the HKUMed community gave health talks and provided free health screenings to members of the public to mark World Health Day. The event launched a year-long collaboration with the government to offer community-based education across all 18 districts.
