200th Congregation of the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine will be held on December 1, 2018 (Saturday) at Hall 5BC, Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai.
The Ceremony is one of the most significant events for our Faculty’s graduates. It will be a memorable occasion for them to celebrate their joy and achievements with their fellow classmates, teachers and family members. It marks the completion of an important milestone in their study life, and signifies the start of a new chapter in their life-long professional endeavours.
Professor Ian HOLLIDAY, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University, will be the presiding officer of the faculty-based Ceremony and will confer degrees upon graduands. We are also honoured to have Professor Victor J. DZAU, President of the National Academy of Medicine, as Guest of Honour who will deliver a speech on this occasion while our Dean Professor Gabriel M LEUNG will share with the graduates and guests the Faculty’s recent achievements and future development plans in his “State of the Faculty” address.
