At HKUMed, the health and safety of our students are our top priorities. To help prevent the spread of seasonal influenza, the Faculty offers free seasonal influenza vaccinations to undergraduate students each year from September to November.
Vaccination not only protects students but also helps safeguard healthcare workers and patients, ensuring a safer environment within HKUMed and hospital communities.
As part of this initiative, the Influenza Vaccination Workshop is available to MBBS I & II and BNurs II & III students. Supervised by registered nurses, this hands-on session provides students with essential skills to administer flu shots, enhancing their preparedness for future clinical practice.
