For 2026/27 admission:
- Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme: 1 December 2025 (HKT noon, GMT+8)
- Main Round: 1 December 2025 (HKT 23:59, GMT+8)
- 1st Clearing Round: 30 April 2026 (HKT 23:59, GMT+8)
- 2nd Clearing Round: 31 August 2026 (HKT 23:59, GMT+8)
Admission requirement
MPhil:
- Bachelor's degree with Honours at Second Class Division I or above;
OR - Bachelor's degree with Honours at Second Class Division II, AND a taught Master's degree (preferably with Second Class Honours Division I).
3-year PhD:
- Bachelor's degree with Honours at Second Class Division I or above, AND a research Master's degree (MPhil).
4-year PhD:
- Bachelor's degree at First Class Honours (preferably with research experience);
OR - Bachelor's degree with Honours at Second Class Division I, AND a taught Master's degree (preferably with Second Class Honours Division I).
