Since its launch in June 2025, the HKUMed 'PAWsome Buddies Programme' has organised a series of PAWfessor engagement events to promote student wellbeing and foster a caring campus culture. Our PAWfessors, including Ollie, Uni, Kaki, Saggie, Teddy, Maxy, Coffee, Charlotte, Poppy and Haru, have brought comfort and joy to students amidst their busy academic schedules.
In November, Bon Bon and Bubble, a cockatiel, from Prof. Winnie Tso, Assistant Dean (Community Engagement), and later, Amber, from Dr Arthur Li, Student Wellness Psychologist, joined the PAWfessor family.
The Valentine's Day session, held on 12 February, attracted many students, spreading warmth and positive energy across the campus.
