On 18 October 2025, HKUMed hosted a gathering for MBBS alumni and interns, creating a wonderful opportunity for connection and camaraderie. Initiated by MBBS alumnus Dr Kingsley Chan Hau-ngai (陳厚毅), the event attracted an impressive turnout of about 90 alumni, interns and students, fostering a vibrant networking atmosphere for the HKU medical alumni community.
Participants, spanning a diverse range of cohorts—from alumni who graduated 65 years ago to first-year students—eagerly engaged with one another. The excitement in the room was palpable as attendees shared experiences and insights related to their work, studies and leisure activities. Before the event concluded, Dean Professor Chak-sing Lau (劉澤星) extended his best wishes to all interns for a rewarding journey in the medical profession.
