The HKUMAA hosted its annual Spring Dinner on 6 March 2026 at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, with a vibrant gathering of more than 200 alumni, honoured guests and MBBS students to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Horse.
The evening commenced with welcoming remarks from Dr Libby Lee Ha-yun (李夏茵), President of the HKUMAA, followed by sharing by Dr Donald Li Kwok-tung (李國棟), Chairman of the HKUMed 140th Anniversary Steering Committee, about plans for the Faculty's upcoming 140th Anniversary Celebrations. Dr Li introduced various initiatives and activities to honour the Faculty's rich heritage while envisioning its future development, and encouraged support and participation from all.
The guests enjoyed an evening of reconnecting with old friends and making new connections. The warm atmosphere and lively conversations reflected the lasting pride and camaraderie within the HKU medical community.
