Representatives from the 25 freshly designated pilot hospitals for international medical services in Guangdong province gathered at the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital to participate in the symposium, hosted by the Chinese Hospital Association International Medical Services Specialized Committee and organised by the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital.
Attending the symposium were Mr Yu Dezhi, President of the Beijing Digital Health Research Association, and Mr Wang Haitao, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Chinese Hospital Association International Medical Services Specialized Committee, along with over 500 experts, scholars, and institutional representatives from the medical and insurance sectors across the country. The symposium facilitated in-depth discussions on topics such as the development of international medical services and innovative models of commercial insurance payments, with the aim of building consensus and pooling strengths for the high-quality development of international medical services in the Greater Bay Area.
