The School of Biomedical Sciences conducted the Professional Readiness Empowerment Workshop in collaboration with CEDARS, offering a five-session series that equipped students with essential career skills for their professional journey. The workshop introduced students to career orientation and strategic planning, effective ways to craft strong CVs and cover letters, and approaches to problem solving and project management. It also explored workplace attitudes and values while providing opportunities for CV reviews and mock interview practice. Through the series, the participants gained practical insights and useful tools to enhance their professional readiness. The workshop gave students a valuable opportunity to prepare for their future careers and build confidence in navigating the workplace.
