This year's programme highlighted recent advances in endocrine pathology, the application of artificial intelligence in pathology, and developments in urologic and renal pathology. The opening address was delivered by the Chief Executive of the Hospital Authority, Dr Libby Lee Ha-yun. Professor Ozgur Mete, from the University of Toronto (Canada), delivered the Hou Pao Chang Medical Memorial Fund Lecture, and Dr Yuri Tolkach, from the University Hospital Cologne (Germany), delivered the James Gibson Lecture. A number of other distinguished pathologists and clinicians presented stimulating seminars throughout the one-day forum. The event was attended by more than 300 delegates, including pathologists, physicians and allied health professionals.
