The School recently welcomed the first batch of international exchange students for 2026, comprising 30 students from Catholic University of Korea (South Korea), Fudan University (China), Jönköping University (Sweden), Keimyung University (South Korea) and Yonsei University (South Korea).
To celebrate this exciting beginning, the School hosted the East Meets West Luncheon, bringing together exchange students, HKU Nursing peers, and faculty for an enriching afternoon of conversation, connection and cultural exchange. Professor Chia-Chin Lin, Director of the School, warmly welcomed all attendees, inspiring the exchange students to embrace learning, explore Hong Kong, and gain first-hand insights into our healthcare system.
The exchange provided an opportunity for the exchange students to attend our lectures, tour our Simulation Lab Centre, visit healthcare organisations in our community, and share their diverse cultural perspectives.
With more batches of exchange students arriving in February and March, this semester set the stage for a dynamic chapter of global learning and friendship in the HKU School of Nursing.
