The School of Biomedical Sciences recently hosted a delightful wine tasting workshop, bringing together academic staff, alumni and students for an evening of learning and connection. The event introduced participants to the fundamentals of wine appreciation in a relaxed setting, while providing an opportunity to connect with members of the School community beyond the classroom.
It was especially encouraging to see participants from different backgrounds and stages of their journey come together to share experiences and build friendships. Many enjoyed the opportunity to unwind while meeting both familiar and new faces.
Events like this remind us that meaningful engagement can happen in many forms, and we are pleased to see our alumni community continue to grow through such enjoyable experiences. We look forward to hosting more activities that bring our community together.
