Generations Connect
The event brought together dedicated Generations Connect (GC) HKU student volunteers, professional nurses and Salvation Army social workers, who worked side by side to prepare and practise health service delivery.
Professional nurses provided guidance and shared clinical experience, helping participants better understand health care practices. Student volunteers actively engaged in learning how to conduct health checks and provide supportive services.
This activity was a rehearsal of health service delivery and a meaningful cross-professional and cross-generational exchange. The collaboration among volunteers, nurses and social workers demonstrated strong teamwork and a shared commitment to community care.
