The grand finale of the celebrations marking the 110th Anniversary of the Department of Surgery of HKUMed, culminated in the 110th Anniversary Gala Dinner, officiated by Professor Lo Chung-mau, Secretary for Health. More than 500 professors, medical leaders, alumni and distinguished guests gathered to celebrate the Department's rich heritage and to envision its future development.
The evening was further highlighted by the premiere of the music video for the anniversary theme song Care for You, dedicated to every healthcare professional and colleague in the medical field as a heartfelt tribute to their dedication and service.
The Department extends its sincere gratitude to all guests who joined the celebration. Guided by the anniversary theme, ‘Embracing the Past, Shaping the Future’, the Department of Surgery will continue to uphold its mission, nurture future surgical talent, and contribute meaningfully to the health and well-being of the community.
