This three-day event celebrated 110 years of surgical excellence. Convened under the theme ‘Beyond a Century of Surgical Excellence’, the Forum brought together leading local and international experts to explore the future of surgical innovation through a series of inspiring lectures and advanced workshops.
Attendees benefited from intensive skills training, including a specialised post-forum cadaveric workshop in cardiothoracic surgery. The Department was privileged to welcome Professor Henri Bismuth as the Legend Series Orator. In his lecture, ‘Standing on the Shoulders of Giants: Vision, Innovation and the Future of Surgery’, Professor Bismuth shared his profound expertise in hepatobiliary surgery, offering invaluable perspectives on the evolution and future trajectory of the field. The Department extends its sincere gratitude to Professor Bismuth for his inspiring contribution to this momentous occasion.
