The visiting professorship lecture, featuring Professor Michael Schuetz, was titled ‘Ingredients to create a culture of excellence in Trauma care – lifelong learning’. Professor Schuetz is the Director of the Jamieson Trauma Institute and Chair of Trauma at Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He is also an orthopaedic trauma surgeon at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
