The 15th HKINF and PHA 2025 Forum Dinner and HKU School of Nursing 30th Anniversary Celebration was successfully held on 31 October. It was an immense privilege to gather with esteemed guests from local and regional communities, clinical and university partners, and dedicated staff members to commemorate an extraordinary milestone. The event was officiated by Professor Max Shen, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) of HKU, Professor Chak-sing Lau, Vice-President & Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health) and Dean of Medicine of HKU, Professor Sophia Chan Siu-chee, Senior Advisor of the President’s Office and Director of the HKU Primary Health Care Academy of HKU, Professor Agnes Tiwari, Chairman of the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, and Professor Chia-Chin Lin, Director of the HKU School of Nursing.
A video shown at the event summarised our 30th anniversary theme, ‘Three Decades of Nursing Leadership: Excellence • Momentum • Collegiality’, reflecting our core values that have guided us. The School will continue to advance nursing education, research and clinical leadership both regionally and globally, providing excellent education and opportunities for our students to become nursing leaders who shape the world for the better.
