The School conducted three well-attended admissions talks at the Information Day for students and parents, covering the Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) (JS6468) and the Bachelor of Nursing (Full-time) Advanced Leadership Track (JS6418).
Leading the talks was Professor Edmond Choi Pui-hang, Programme Director. Professor Chak-sing Lau, Vice-President & Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health) and Dean of Medicine, welcomed the participants, and an outstanding alumnus and a current student enriched the session with reflections on their experiences here.
The talks provided deeper insights into admission requirements, programme highlights and teaching features, and gave students and parents an opportunity to ask questions and engage with faculty members and nursing students on topics such as life enrichment learning, clinical practicum, career prospects, academic pursuits and HKU campus life.
Participants toured our state-of-the-art simulation wards, observed demonstrations of various nursing skills, and engaged in hands-on nursing techniques to further their understanding of clinical nursing applications and practices.
