The Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute (HKJCGHI) organised the Co-Directors Public Lecture at the HKUMed campus, featuring presentations by the three Co-Directors: Professor Leo Poon Lit-man, Professor Florian Marks and Professor Ravi Gupta. Their talks focused on strengthening global pandemic preparedness through scientific innovation and international collaboration. They highlighted the need for integrated strategies, from cutting edge immunology research and broad-spectrum vaccine development to enhanced global surveillance and capacity building, to support equitable vaccine access and reinforce health systems. The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session and group photo taking. The event attracted over 80 in-person participants and 10 virtual attendees.
