HKUMed welcomed a senior delegation from the Chinese Mainland, headed by Mr Lei Haichao, Minister of the National Health Commission, for a briefing on the latest biomedical and health technology advances at the University of Hong Kong.
The programme included a visit to the Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing, where the HKUMed Technology Transfer Unit coordinated demonstrations of the following award-winning technologies:
- SmartRehab, an AI-driven home rehabilitation system;
- Liver in Cube, a precision diagnostic and treatment tool for liver cancer;
- mskalign, a multi agent platform for managing spinal disorders; and
- Vitogram®, a portable AI-enhanced cardiac monitor that turns smartphones into stethoscopes.
