HK InnoHealth Cup Final Presentation and Closing Ceremony

The inaugural Hong Kong InnoHealth Cup, co-organised by HKUMed and the Hong Kong Subsidized Secondary Schools Council, attracted participation from 131 schools, including over 500 students and teachers. Centred on the theme 'AI & Big Data for Health', the event challenged participants to develop innovative solutions to pressing health issues.

Following a preliminary round, 22 teams received one-on-one mentorship from HKUMed experts and professors. Twelve teams advanced to the finals, where their projects were evaluated based on innovation, practicality and feasibility. The team from Kowloon True Light School claimed the championship with their project 'Next Generation AI Driven Peptide Therapeutics: EGFR/BRAF Inhibitory Peptides for Lung Cancer Therapy'. St. Paul's Convent School secured second place, and King’s College took third. Dr Choi Yuk-lin, JP, Secretary for Education, commended all the participants for their creativity and meaningful contributions to advancing medical innovation.
