Twelve peer supporters were trained in a 12-hour Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course and a two-hour Communication and Engagement Workshop. These interactive sessions
equipped the students with practical knowledge and skills to better understand and support their peers' well-being. They also engaged in eight hours of self-initiated wellness service and promotion activities as a requirement for completion. Upon completing their training, the Peer Supporters obtained the MHFA certificate and are now prepared to actively support their peers' wellness within the HKUMed community.
