About 60 medical alumni and their families enjoyed a day trip to Shenzhen, where they visited Tencent Headquarters and the Qianhai Exhibition Center.
The participants examined the latest innovations at Tencent HQ and heard from Dr Alex Ng (吳文達), President of Tencent Healthcare, about the impact of AI on healthcare in Chinese Mainland. After a delicious lunch featuring Shunde cuisine, the group visited the Qianhai Exhibition Center, where they learned about Qianhai's rapid rise as a hub for startups and innovation in the Greater Bay Area.
It was a fantastic day of learning and discovery, highlighting Shenzhen's growth as an innovation powerhouse.
