The HKU Medical Alumni Association (HKUMAA) held its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 1 August 2025. Dr Annabel Choy Kai-tung (蔡啟彤) was newly elected as an Executive Committee Member for the 2025–2028 term.

Following the AGM, Professor Gilberto Leung Ka-kit (梁嘉傑), Director of the School of Clinical Medicine at HKUMed, delivered a captivating dinner talk, titled 'Virchow, Michelin Guide & the Uberisation of Medicine'. He emphasised the need to re-centre medicine within a changing social context, focusing on community, equity, and trust, while balancing market-driven models with social responsibility and professional standards.
