HKUMAA celebrated its 25th anniversary with a memorable dinner event titled “Our Silver Voyage” on 18 October 2024. Held in the Orchid Room of the Hong Kong Golf Club, the dinner brought together 31 esteemed guests who have played integral roles in HKUMAA's journey, including past and present Executive Committee and Sub-Committee members.
The evening commenced with welcoming remarks from Dr Libby Lee (李夏茵), President of HKUMAA, who reflected on the association's milestones over the past 25 years. This was followed by a captivating photo slideshow highlighting key events from HKUMAA's establishment in 1999 to 2024, evoking both nostalgia and pride.
Guests enjoyed a sumptuous four-course Western meal, and a cherished moment of the evening was a special birthday celebration for members' beloved Founding President, Professor Rosie Young Tse-tse (楊紫芝).
