The Department of Ophthalmology, SClinMed was honoured to have Professor Claude Burgoyne, Glaucoma Clinician and Surgeon (Retired), Emeritus Senior Scientist and Van Buskirk Chair for Ophthalmic Research, Past Director, Optic Nerve Head Research Laboratory, Legacy Devers Eye Institute / Legacy Research Institute, Legacy Health, Portland, Oregon USA, as the speaker on 16 November 2023.
Professor Burgoyne delivered an enlightening lecture titled ‘Reflections on 30 years as a Glaucoma Clinician Scientist - OCT Assessment of the ONH tissues in Myopia and Glaucoma.’ Professor Christopher Leung Kai-shun（梁啟信) served as the moderator and engaged in a thoughtful discussion following the lecture.
