Professor Christoph Lees, a renowned expert in obstetrics and fetal medicine, was the 3rd visiting scholar for the Professor Ma Chung Ho Kei Distinguished Lecture Series.
During his visit from 7-12 January 2024, Professor Lees delivered three informative lectures on various topics including the management of intrauterine growth restriction and maternal cardiovascular function in pre-eclampsia. He also conducted workshops and meetings with the maternal and fetal medicine team, HIFU team, midwives, and prenatal diagnosis team to share his insights on clinical service and research. Professor Lees, who has published extensively and authored textbooks on fetal growth restriction and maternal haemodynamics, provided valuable suggestions and discussed new research ideas during his interactions with the Maternal and Fetal Medicine trainees and the obstetric team.
