On 2 February 2024, the School of Public Health invited Professor Luis Gabriel Bernal-Pulido, Professor of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Rosario University – Bogotá, Colombia, to share on the topic ‘Foundations and Features of a High Performing Primary Healthcare System’ with BASc(GHD) students. As a family physician with extensive clinical and managerial experience in primary and community healthcare services, his lecture shed light on the essential components, including accessibility, quality, and community engagement, that contribute to an effective primary healthcare system. Students were engaged in the lecture and gained insights on understanding global health development from an international expert.
