The symposium covered a broad scope of cancer knowledge exchange including cancer diagnosis, screening and management. Professor Chak-sing Lau（劉澤星）, Dean of Medicine, Mr Xu Xiaoping (徐小平), Party Committee Secretary, The University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital and Dr Kenneth Tsang Hing-lim （曾慶廉）, Chief Executive Officer, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong delivered welcoming speech and officiated the opening ceremony.
More than 30 world-renowned cancer experts from the Mainland, overseas and Hong Kong gave excellent and inspiring lectures on a wide range of cancer topics on lung, breast, gastrointestinal systems, gynaecological sites, head and neck, sarcoma, genitourinary malignancies, and precision cancer medicine. Around 130 global, regional and local delegates joined this international event. The most up-to-date thinking, as well as opportunities for collaboration in clinical services and research within and outside the Greater Bay Area were extensively explored
