The Public Lecture entitled ‘BMN-673 (talazoparib), Mechanism of Resistance and its Reversal’ was delivered on 28 March 2024 by Professor Chen Zhe-Sheng, the Director of the Institute for Biotechnology and a Professor in Pharmacology at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, St. John's University. The lecture marked the beginning of the Distinguished Lecture Series on Eastern and Western Medicine organized by the School of Chinese Medicine. During the lecture, Professor Chen shared his extensive research on the impact of ABC transporters on the resistance to talazoparib (BMN-673), a PARP inhibitor. Researchers and students had the valuable opportunity to have an in-depth understanding of Professor Chen's study and gain insights into the Mechanism of Resistance and its Reversal.
