HKUMAA 130 Mentorship Programme 4th Term (2023-2025) Inauguration Ceremony

About 100 mentors and mentees attended the Inauguration Ceremony of the 4th cohort of the 130 Mentorship Programme. All the participants were actively engaged in the discussion session.

Professor Rosie Young Tse-tse (楊紫芝), Founding President of the HKUMAA, Dr Kathleen So Pik-han(蘇碧嫺 ), Advisor of the 130 Mentorship Programme, and Faculty members Professor Gilberto Leung Ka-kit (梁嘉傑) and Professor Gordon Wong Tin-chun (黃田鎮) also graced the occasion with their presence.

Dr Matthew Tsui (徐錫漢), President of the HKUMAA, kicked off the Ceremony with a warm welcoming speech, followed by a brief introduction by the Co-Chairmen of the Programme, Dr Lee Ha-yun (李夏茵) and Dr Kevin Lau Chung-hang(劉仲恒). Recurring mentor of the Programme Dr Gavin Cheung Tin-chun (張天俊) and mentee Harriet Kwok also shared their stories, personal anecdotes and recommendations with the participants. 

The 130 Mentorship Programme is an initiative established in 2017 to facilitate knowledge exchange and to build professional networks between young medical alumni and current students with senior alumni.
