About 200 alumni and guests gathered in the Chariot Club to celebrate the Year of the Dragon and the 25th anniversary of the HKU Medical Alumni Association (HKUMAA).
The Spring Dinner featured a live music performance by student band Medici and an exciting lucky draw. During the event, the Executive Committee and Sub-committee members came together to cut the HKUMAA anniversary celebration cake. In a speech, Professor Rosie Young Tse-tse （楊紫芝）, Founding President of the HKUMAA in 1999, said that she hoped the Association would continue to foster unity and solidarity among alumni of different generations.
Dr Matthew Tsui Sik-hon （徐錫漢）, President of the HKUMAA, expressed his gratitude to his predecessors, the late Professor Lee Kin-hung （李健鴻）, Professor Leung Nai-kong（梁乃江）, Dr Kathleen So Pik-han （蘇碧嫺 ） and Dr Barbara Lam Cheung-cheung （藍章翔）, for their dedicated service and guidance to the HKUMAA. Also attending the event to share the joyous reunion of alumni were Professor Chak-sing Lau （劉澤星）, Dean of Medicine, and his newly appointed deanery team.
