The inaugural Hong Kong Laboratory Animal Sciences Society (HKLASS) symposium was hosted by the Centre for Comparative Medicine Research (CCMR) on 2 May. The event was attended by over 150 laboratory animal care staff and researchers from Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
The symposium featured talks from both international and local speakers on the topics of animal welfare and AAALAC International accreditation. The event provided a platform for experts in the field to share their knowledge and insights, and to discuss the latest developments and best practices in the field of laboratory animal science. It offered a valuable opportunity for attendees to learn from and network with their peers, and to contribute to the ongoing conversation about the importance of excellent laboratory animal welfare.
