On 22 October 2025, over 20 Executive Committee members and Past Presidents of HKUMAA gathered to celebrate the 95th birthday of their beloved Founding President, Professor Rosie Young, with a fine dinner at the Library of The Hong Kong Club.
The two Vice-Presidents, Dr Flora Tsang and Dr Victor Yeung, represented the Association in presenting a birthday card with messages from President Dr Libby Lee and all attending participants, along with a mosaic photo collage and a flower pot to Professor Young.
The event reached a memorable climax when the birthday baked Alaska cake was lit, and participants sent their birthday wishes to Professor Young. Participants not only enjoyed a sumptuous dinner and delightful conversations but were also reminded of Professor Young's enduring belief that "patients' needs must always come first".
