The HKUMAA celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a memorable dinner event titled “Our Silver Voyage” on 18 October 2024. The dinner, held at the Orchid Room of the Hong Kong Golf Club, brought together 31 esteemed guests who have been integral parts to HKUMAA's journey, including past and present Executive Committee and Sub-Committee members.
The evening commenced with welcoming remarks by Dr Libby Lee, President of HKUMAA, who reflected on HKUMAA's milestones over the past 25 years. The speech was followed by a captivating photo slideshow that showcased key events from the establishment of HKUMAA in 1999 up to 2024, bringing both nostalgia and pride.
Our guests went on to enjoy a sumptuous four-course western meal. A precious moment of the evening was a special birthday celebration for our dearest Founding President Professor Rosie Young. May we wish Professor Young good health and happiness, and HKUMAA more wonderful years ahead!
