Almost 20 members of HKU Medical Alumni Association (HKUMAA) and their family members and friends gathered together to kickstart 2024 by participating in a meaningful hiking trail clean-up activity on Sunday, 7 January. The event was co-organised by HKUMAA and Trailsweeper, an organisation that promotes environmental conservation through cleaning up hiking trails. With their hard work and dedication, the group successfully cleared a total of 26 kg of rubbish along the 4km trail in Mount Davis. Their enthusiasm and commitment to preserving our natural environment is truly commendable. All of the participants including grown-ups and children expressed that they did enjoy the activity and found it meaningful.
