Since its first Band Show on October 13, 2012, HKUMAA organised its second Band Show in a live house and restaurant in Wan Chai on May 19, 2018, drawing an almost full house of 140 medical alumni, students and friends for a relaxing Saturday evening with nice music and food.
Thanks for the detailed coordination of Dr Barbara Lam, Dr Victor Yeung, Dr Annabel Choy and Dr Stanton Ho, a HKU medical alumni a cappella group, three HKU medical alumni bands, a HKU medical student band and Dr Marco Ho were invited to perform on the occasion, with music ranging from pop to jazz.
Like what our Founding President Professor Rosie Young and President Dr Barbara Lam mentioned in the evening, the event provided an excellent opportunity for different generations of alumni, students and members of 130 Mentorship Programme to meet, as well as a great occasion for us to appreciate our alumni and students' glorious talents.
