Want to achieve the most for your future medical professions and your life journey?
Hello there, this is Ruth. I am a clinical psychologist registered in Hong Kong and licensed in the States. It is my belief that the topic of mental health is not just about treatment and intervention, but also prevention and self-growth. Especially when it is part of life that there are ups and downs, sometimes it might be easier to surf through the waves when we are to “invest” in developing our internal self. I believe that my role as a psychologist is to provide a non-judgmental space that could allow that internal self to feel listened to and cared for – a space that could eventually foster personal growth and self-actualisation.
I utilise an integrative theoretical orientation in psychotherapy with evidence-based and strength-based approaches. These primarily include cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approaches.
Hi there! I am Vincci and had worked in Hong Kong tertiary education as a Counsellor for 15 years. I am now here because I really want to listen to everything you have in your mind. You can always share all your worries, happiness, disappointment, joy, ups and downs or just a very small thing that lightens up your day with me! I understand that working in the medical industry is harder now than ever, which makes me even more eager to share your bad feelings and help you out. With me, you are never alone as long as you trust me and allow me to be your lighthouse in the case you are lost. Together we can always find a way out to your problems. So don’t hesitate anymore and make an appointment with me!
My counselling interest:
Satir transformational Systemic Therapy
Hi everyone! My name is Arthur. I am a Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Logotherapist, and an existentialist – I believe we as human being are ultimately free and responsible to live out the meaning in our life, and we always have the potential to discover meaning in any kind of situation. Having working in the field of mental health for years, I tend to understand mental health issues as another form of being. If you ever have doubts, concerns, or anything in your mind you would like to talk about, come take a seat and I will be there, and together we will face it.
I practise from a technical eclectic perspective, where I adopt the existential-humanistic and meaning-centered approach, and also integrates various techniques that I believe would best fit your needs.
Hi, this is Ming. I am blessed to have worked as a counsellor in the mental health field for over a decade. I perceive counselling as a delightful journey to sightsee the beautiful sceneries, explore the unknowns, and hunt the hidden treasures with my clients in their inner worlds. I understand unlocking the door of your subconscious and unconscious is a courageous endeavour. But I truly believe the value of this internal journey is unparalleled. It would be my pleasure if you invited me to be your companion to travel around internally together. As your counsellor, I will provide a warm and secure space for you to take off or land safely in any spot of your inner world.
To be a good companion, I have equipped myself with adequate clinical knowledge. I am familiar with the Attachment Theory, Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy and Emotion-focused Therapy. In clinical practice, I prefer to integrate different theories and intervention models to formulate the most appropriate treatment plan for every unique individual.
Hello! My name is Billy. I work as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am looking forward to meeting with you! As someone who had experienced many changes in life, I have come to understand life is ever changing. Counselling is often seen as a last resort. While it can be, it doesn’t have to be. I hope counselling can be an opportunity for us to explore, our likes and dislikes, preferred and not preferred. I hope to try and accompany you on your journey until one day, at our journey’s completion we can sit together and recognise the steps you’ve taken along the way.
I am familiar with Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, both of which aims towards finding how the “others” in our lives are hindering us from our preferred selves. I look forward to exploring our preferences together!
