The MBBS Checkpoint Activity was recently launched as a non-formal self-assessment for pre-clinical year medical students following their completion of individual system blocks. The aim of the activity is to help students evaluate their understanding of anatomy, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology and physiology in an engaging way. Students scoring 50% or above are awarded an organ pin representing their respective system block, marking a success point in their MBBS pre-clinical journey. What makes this activity particularly special is that the questions are written by volunteer MBBS students and carefully reviewed by professors of the respective subjects, ensuring both academic rigor and student ownership of the learning process.
