The workshop was successfully held on the HKUMed campus. Co-organised by the Department of Medicine and the HKU Endoscopy Centre, this year's workshop focused on AI-powered colonoscopy, endoscopic therapy for inflammatory bowel disease, advanced colonoscopy closure techniques, and endoscopic submucosal dissection in severe fibrosis.
Led by Professor Leung Wai-keung and Professor Thomas Lui Ka-luen, the workshop combined in-depth lectures with live case demonstrations. The event sparked engaging discussions on the latest colonoscopy advancements, with experts and attendees sharing real-world strategies for tackling complex clinical challenges.
