This was a comprehensive four-day programme designed to prepare candidates for the FRCSED (ORTHO) and FHKCOS examinations. The course integrated detailed anatomical demonstrations with foundational and advanced concepts in orthopaedic science. Days 1 and 2 focused on regional anatomy, including the brachial plexus, spine, limbs and gait cycle, with hands-on demonstrations and practice vivas, led by a multidisciplinary faculty. Days 3 and 4 shifted to basic science topics, such as biomechanics, bone healing, biomaterials, infection, tumour pathology, metabolic bone disease, neurophysiology and prosthetics. Each day included structured viva practice in small groups to reinforce learning and simulate exam conditions. The programme was led by Dr Margret Fok Woon Man and supported by a diverse faculty of specialists, offering participants a rigorous and immersive review experience tailored for the demands of orthopaedic certification.
